  • Do we have to bring our own towels?
  • No, we supply fresh towels each day as needed.
  • Do you have rooms with shower?
  • We have some rooms with showers and have started a programme to install more. If you need a room with a shower, please state this at time of booking.
  • I am a vegetarian do I have to bring my own food?
  • We can cater for a vegetarian diet, please inform the booking clerk who will send you a diet form.
  • Do you have items such as raised toilet seats?
  • We have a limited amount of equipment, please ask booking clerk for details. Specialist equipment can be hired for your stay from the Red Cross.
  • Do I have to have worked for the railway?
  • No, we are open to members of the general public, however there is a concessionary rate for retired BR/LT personnel. For more details speak to a member of the booking team.
  • I have a carer at home, do I need I need a carer when I come to Bridge House?
  • Yes you will need to organise a carer, we do not provide care at Bridge House. The booking clerk can give details of care agencies locally.
